I’m Emanuele.
Photography is a way of paying attention to the world around you.
I’m Emanuele Zanchettin, a Lymm-based photographer and Vice-President of Lymm Photographic Society. My work explores light, composition and expression, from places and details to portraits.
Cheshire Photo Courses is my new local programme for 2026, built on years of practical photography, published work and involvement in Lymm’s photographic community. The first beginner groups will be limited to four so everyone has time to ask, try and understand.
I’m bilingual in English and Italian. My Italian perspective shapes how I notice design, gesture and the mood of light, and lessons can run entirely in either language.

Is this suitable for a complete beginner?
The photography and Lightroom day courses are designed for beginners. The portrait evening is a practical session with a professional model; tell Emanuele about your camera and experience to check whether it is a good fit.
Can the course be taught in Italian?
Yes. Emanuele is bilingual and can teach in English or Italian. A dedicated Italian lesson can be arranged for one person or a small group; choose Italian on the enquiry form.
Do I need an expensive camera?
No. For the photography course, a camera with adjustable aperture, shutter speed and ISO is the most useful. Tell Emanuele your camera model if you would like to check whether it is suitable.
What does the £100 include?
One course day from 10am to 4pm, tuition in a group of up to four people, and refreshments. Equipment and Adobe software are not included. Lunch arrangements will be confirmed with the session details.
What is the portrait photography evening?
Photography night with photo-friends is a chance to practise female portrait photography with a professional model. It runs from 7pm–9pm, costs £20 per person and is limited to 8 photographers. Dates and the Lymm venue are to be confirmed. Explore the evening.
Where and when do courses and sessions take place?
In Lymm, Cheshire. Dates have not been announced yet, and the venue may vary by session. Register your interest to discuss upcoming availability. Your exact venue and practical details will be confirmed before a booking is finalised.
What do I need for the Lightroom course?
Plan to bring a laptop, charger and a selection of your photographs. The Lightroom version and software requirements will be confirmed before booking, so please check before purchasing anything.
